# Five luxury travel website references for Pam Martin Travels

Reviewed 19 September 2026. These are five established design references, not a claimed objective ranking. Findings below come from their official websites. Layout recommendations are our design interpretation; exact fonts, colors and rendered animations were not measured.

| Website | Observed features | Application to Pam's website |
| --- | --- | --- |
| [Black Tomato](https://www.blacktomato.com/) | Emotional positioning; discovery by traveller, month and spotlight; destination and experience navigation; trip finder filters; clear enquiry link. | Lead with an evocative invitation and one strong photograph. Let visitors browse Pam's collection by experience, then inspect a focused trip detail view. |
| [Scott Dunn](https://www.scottdunn.com/) | Dedicated expert enquiry; wishlist; seasonal/editorial features; explicit four-step process from enquiry through consultation and quote to booking. | Make planning with Pam feel easy with a short process section and clear personal consultation CTA. Distinguish discovering a trip from making an enquiry. |
| [Abercrombie & Kent](https://www.abercrombiekent.com/) | Featured journeys include duration, guest limits, itinerary, price and detail links. Journey finder separates interests; travel formats include private travel, groups, safari, cruises and private jet. | Give special-trip cards real structured fields: destination, dates, duration, price label, availability, highlights and itinerary. Publish only information Pam enters. |
| [Jacada Travel](https://www.jacadatravel.com/) | Destination search and trip-planner paths; named itinerary collection; destination categories; prominent specialist positioning and published client reviews. | Offer both direct discovery and guided inspiration. Bring Pam's actual portrait and personal expertise into the page; use her genuine testimonials only when supplied. |
| [Original Travel](https://www.originaltravel.co.uk/) | Homepage now announces the Voyageurs du Monde name. Decorative background video; holiday collections; concierge, services and destination-specialist features; trending destinations and itinerary ideas. | Use rich media with restrained typography, give collections descriptive names, and explain the value of Pam's personal planning beyond the destination itself. |

## Recommended creative direction

Use Pam's authentic logo at a clearly readable scale in a dedicated header, keeping its proportions and colors. Build the page around immersive destination photography from her actual website, with navy and gold framing, generous whitespace and carefully paced image sections. Keep the landing view focused; give trips enough detail to be useful after a visitor opens them.

## Special trips and experiences editor

Pam should be able to add and edit a title, destination, experience category, dates, duration, price wording, availability, descriptive copy, highlights and photography. Draft/published state, featured selection and ordering make the collection manageable. A preview can demonstrate this with browser persistence and import/export; public cross-device publishing requires shared storage and authenticated editing.

## Verification limits

Four homepages were readable directly. Abercrombie & Kent's direct page returned an empty extraction; its official homepage content was available through the web search index, including its structured journey cards. No competitor photography or brand assets were copied. This research supports information architecture and interaction decisions, not a pixel-perfect reproduction of competitor sites.
